Integrating Invoices & Payments

In this article, we will explain how the integration between simPRO and FlatRateNOW functions for invoicing & payments.

You can enable 'Invoicing & Payments' with the simPRO integration. When a quotation is accepted in FlatRateNOW, you can generate an invoice within FlatRateNOW that will create the invoice within simPRO and any payments that are recorded will automatically sync between both systems.

This feature is disabled by default. You must enable the Invoicing & Payments feature.

 

Enabling Invoicing & Payments Feature

  1. Log into Office View
  2. Go to 'Configuration'
  3. tick 'Enable Invoice & Payment'
  4. Hit 'Apply' to save change

Once you have enabled the feature, you will need to link your payment methods.

 

Linking payment methods between simPRO and FlatRateNOW

  1. Go to 'Configuration'
  2. Select 'setup simPRO Invoice/Payment'
  3. Select your 'Accounting Category'
    1. This information is pulled from your simPRO account. If you do not have an 'Accounting Category' setup, here is the simPRO guide.
  4. Enter in your 'Deposit Category'
    1. This is an important field and necessary for simPRO. To learn more, here is the simPRO guide.
  5. Link each of the payment methods by selecting the 'link me' icon on the right hand side.
  6. Once completed, press 'save'
  7. Scroll up to the top and press 'apply' to save the changes.
