FlatRateNOW Update Summary - December 2025 & January 2026

 

Since rolling out the early access of our new FRN Quoting App V2.0, we’ve been continuously refining the experience and addressing the issues you’ve raised.

Thank you again for all your feedback—it’s been invaluable in helping us improve the app.

Below is a summary of the fixes, improvements and changes we’ve deployed between 1 December 2025 and 31 January 2026.

 Quoting App Interface Improvements

  • Quote Edit View
    • Improved visual layout and styling throughout the quote editor
    • Updated task views with better formatting and spacing
    • Refreshed the appearance of coupons and promotional offers
    • Redesigned the task cancellation confirmation for better clarity
    • Enhanced how price adjustments are displayed
  • Pop-up windows
    • Fixed old pop-up screens incorrectly appearing behind the newer pop-ups versions of themselves creating a weird view on the screen
    • Resolved navigation issues when Tradesperson signature is disabled
    • Fixed accept terms tick box not displaying properly when enabled in configuration
    • Resolved problems when switching between Tradesperson & Customer signature on Quote Acceptance screen
  • Invoice View
    • Fixed the invoice preview button not functioning
    • Enhanced the visual presentation of invoices

  •  Safari/iOS Support
    • Added proper back button navigation for Safari users
    • Fixed back button on older iOS devices incorrectly returning to the job list
    • Improved navigation history when the app is embedded in other page

  • Critical Fixes
    • Fixed task price slider not adjusting values correctly
    • Resolved issue where disabled menu items still performed actions when clicked
    • Memory and performance optimizations for smoother operation
  • Tasks
    • Fixed issues with saving and loading add-on and task option selections
    • Improved handling when changing task quantities
  • Navigation & Input
    • Fixed back button behavior when the user has clicked into mutlipe views
    • Improved keyboard focus behavior in mobile app views
    • Fixed keyboard unexpectedly appearing during screen loads

  • Various improvements to simPRO integration
  • Fixed creating new jobs for the same customer in simPRO and ServiceM8
  • Background processing improvements for integration tasks

  • Updated PDF quote report layouts and styling
  • Enhanced PDF generation and report actions

  • Significant reductions in memory usage
  • Code optimizations for faster loading and better responsiveness
  • Reduced background logging for improved performance

:iphone: Mobile Compatibility

  • Improved back navigation on iOS devices
  • Enhanced compatibility with Safari browser
  • Better keyboard and focus handling in the mobile app
