ai Allie's Quote Review Function

Imagine having an assistant that reviews every quote, surfaces opportunities you might have missed, and helps spark better conversations with your customers.

That's Allie — FRN's in-app AI assistant. With version 1.1, Allie's Quote Review is smarter than ever, drawing on more data and a growing set of rules and standards to give you sharper, more relevant suggestions on every job.

What is the Quote Review?

Quote Review is powered by insights drawn from over $2.5 billion in quote data across the FlatRateNOW platform. Rather than looking only at accepted work, it draws on a broader picture — accepted, complete, pending and cancelled/rejected quotes — to open up a wider range of ideas for your quote.

When triggered, Allie looks at the tasks on your current quote and groups them by job, identifying tasks that commonly appear together on the same job. Allie then returns a list of relevant suggestions based on these co-occurrences. These suggestions are informational — you retain full control over what, if anything, is added to your quote.

Rules and Standards

Quote Review also checks your quote against a growing set of rules and standards. Where a task links to a relevant standard, Allie will surface it as part of the suggestions. Current rules include:

  • Australian Standards — where your quote includes a task that links to a standard, the relevant Australian Standard will appear as part of the suggestions. Standards currently set up are:
    • Static Pressure (AS/NZS 3500.1)
    • Backflow Prevention (AS/NZS 3500.1)
    • Isolation Switches (AS/NZS 3000)
    • Wiring Rules – Addition/Alteration (AS/NZS 3000)
  • QBCC (Queensland Home Warranty Scheme) — rules for Form 4 and Form 4a are applied to relevant quotes. For more information on the scheme, see the QBCC's home warranty insurance page.
  • SA Water (Water Meters) — if your quote includes a water meter related task, Quote Review will advise you to remove the task and contact SA Water.

Additional rules are being applied over time, so you'll see this list grow.

How do I access this feature?

Quote Review is accessible directly from the quote builder. Once your quote is underway, select the 'Review Tasks' button located in the top right corner of the screen.

Before giving the feature a whirl, try it below in this interactive tutorial:

  • Open Quote Review. With your quote underway in the quote builder, locate the Quote Review feature.
  • Click 'Review Tasks'. Select the 'Review Tasks' button in the top right corner of the screen to begin.
  • Enter the Job Description / Purpose. Provide a short description of the job so Allie has the context needed to tailor its suggestions.
  • Start the Review. Select 'Start Review' to let Allie analyse the tasks on your quote.
  • Review AS/NZ Standards + State-Based Rules. Allie displays any relevant Australian & New Zealand Standards, along with state-based rules (such as QBCC and SA Water) that apply to the tasks on your quote.
  • Select the tasks. Work through the suggested tasks and choose the ones you'd like to include.
  • Choose where the tasks go. Decide whether to add the selected tasks to your existing quote, or to add them to a new quote.
  • Add the selected tasks. Confirm your selection to add the chosen tasks to the quote.
  • Re-run the Review Wizard (optional). If you'd like, you can re-run the Review Wizard to generate a fresh set of suggestions.

Version 1.2 will include your own access to the AI to develop/create your own Sale Rules so that the agent ensures your team sell how you want them to sell. We will let you know as soon as this feature is available.
